A Family Story

Managed by the same family for 16 generations, it is a testament to the richness of French viticulture. Each generation has preserved and enriched this legacy, maintaining and enhancing a unique ancestral know-how.

Famille Bourdy

The Team

Domaine Bourdy is run by a diverse team, passionate about vine cultivation and winemaking. We are dedicated to revealing the unique terroir of our vineyard in Jura, France.

Laura Bourdy

Since her return in 2018, then her acquisition of the Domain in 2022, Laura has become an essential part of our team. Her joie de vivre and determination mark every moment. With a bright smile and contagious energy, she passionately contributes to the writing of the beautiful story of this place.

Baptiste Clouzeau

Arriving in 2020 as an intern, Baptiste quickly found his place, becoming our touch of fresh air. Between tractors and vines, he zigzags with passion and makes every move care. Without him, life in Arlay would be much duller; he infuses every task with a touch of enthusiasm.

Béatrice Vergey

Since 1994, Béatrice has watched over our domain like a guardian of yesteryear. She has learned every nook, cranny, and secret of the place, alongside Laura’s father and uncle. Her expertise in administration, labeling, and exports is the invisible thread that connects everything at the domain. Her advice, as precious as treasure, guides our steps.

Patrice Girod

Three years ago, Patrice came to install a beam in our offices, and since then has become a trusty pillar. A carpenter by trade, his expertise builds, repairs, and transforms our buildings with devotion. His warm presence punctuates the gentle life of Arlay, where his hands can repair anything, and his heart can give everything.

Laura

Laura

Laura, for her part, chose to leave her native Ardèche after several years in Burgundy to start a new chapter in the Jura. She brings with her a lilting accent, plenty of sunshine… and, above all, a reassuring presence. She naturally bridges the gap between the vineyard and the cellar, organizing, guiding, and anticipating needs. Without making a fuss, she has become one of the pillars of our daily life.

Thaïs

Thaïs

Thaïs arrived with her backpack, her dreams, her eagerness to learn, and her many questions. She’s discovering the craft of winemaking through her BTS in Viticulture and Oenology, bringing a fresh perspective that reminds us every day of the beauty of our profession. Her spontaneity, curiosity, and that touch of naivety that brings a smile to our faces make every day a little brighter. And because she’s also a passionate athlete, the whole team follows her challenges with the same energy she brings to the vineyards.
